Hi Tanner – just wanted to check back in. Hope all is well at your end. Eight weeks post surgery and all is going well. Am weaning myself off the support garment and starting back into the gym…slowly. Swelling has basically gone away and scars seem to be settling in. Have a follow up with the surgeon next week and am not expecting any surprises. Biggest problem will be getting back to my pre-surgery workout and diet routine….I have been pretty lax since the surgery – felt that I deserved a break!! No weight gain because I won’t do that again but got to get back to the healthy lifestyle! Thanks again for all the support you provided – keep up the good work and let me know what I can do to help. Mark

Mark,

Good to hear that all is going well.

It’s nice when things go well and you don’t develop any serious complications.

I have been communicating with a few people who have had lots of problems after their surgery. We were lucky compared to them.

It is difficult to get back into the exercise and diet routine after being out for so long, but hopefully that’s something you (and I) will be able to do for the rest of our lives. Your right. Sure don’t want to gain the weight back. Once was enough.

Thanks for all the info you provided.
