Hi, had a tt 4 weeks ago , my belly button has just started Leaking Blood and a little blood around the edges is this dangerous and waht do u think i can do, it was all fine till 3 days ago, strange, im alittle scared now. Thanx

Sara,

I would go back to my surgeon immediately to have him take a look at it.

Last week I received an email from "Drey" who said that his/her "Tummy Tuck Belly Button Is Red, It Drains & Has An Odor" four weeks after tummy tuck surgery. It was fairly serious and lead to him/her losing the belly button.

There's no reason to believe that your situation or outcome will be similar, but just to be on the safe side I would seek medical attention as soon as possible. It may be just an infection which they can treat with medication.
