This picture shows the damage to my hand and fingers caused by a pinched ulnar nerve located in my arm, close to the elbow. The pinching of the ulnar nerve caused permanent damage to my hand and fingers. This damage
to my ulnar nerve effected the appearance and function of my right hand
and fingers.
Ulnar nerve damage symptoms (in my case) - numbness and tingling in my
hands and fingers, muscle atrophy in my hand, weakness in my fingers,
inability to straighten my fingers, and my fingers get cold very easily.
The muscle atrophy or muscle loss caused by the pinching of my ulnar
nerve is permanent and cannot be reversed. To prevent it from happening
again I am told there is a ulnar nerve damage surgery operation which
can relocate the ulnar nerve so that it is not as close to the surface
of the skin or located in a different area so that it is not as easily
pinched.
