Picture of my right hand and fingers showing muscle atrophy between the
thumb and the forefinger and my bent and deformed little finger (pinky
finger). Note that the pinky finger is bent and cannot be straightened.
I also have a loss of lateral (sideward) movement of my fingers. When I
hold my hand out there is a noticeable gap between my fingers that I
cannot close. I used to have a little pain in my fingers, but with
exercise and time it has gone away. In my case my weak and deformed
little finger was caused by a pinched ulnar nerve located in my arm.
