Home Health Care Nurse

A home health care nurse is a medically trained individual who cares for ill or infirm patients in their homes. Depending on their level of training, home health care nurses may also
- administer medications & manage intravenous lines
- care for and observe patients
- help diagnose illnesses, develop patient care plans and communicate with doctors
- provide emotional support to patients and their families
- instruct patients on self-medication, physical therapy, disease management, nutritional plans and medical conditions
