Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

A nerve disorder that causes pain, loss of feeling and loss of strength in the hands. It is characterized by discomfort and weakness in the hands and fingers and by sensations of tingling, burning or numbness. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is caused by compression of a nerve in the carpal tunnel.
