Unhappy And Looks Pregnant After Tummy Tuck

The following post from our forum is from a woman who had a tummy tuck and is now looks 6 months pregnant. She is unhappy. Her surgeon told her to go an a diet.

Hi, I had a TT with excessive skin removal in the abdomen left from having kids, in Aug 2010, had swelling from chest down,, now I am still swollen & look 6mos pregnant,, went back to the Dr who did the surgery & he told me to go on a diet,,, I had lost weight before going to him(reason for TT) he had an attitude of indifference since he had my money, he couldn't be bothered. Today I have gone to my PC who sent me to a digestive Dr,,I have had a sonagram, mri & a colonoscopy,,, I am still hurting, swollen, unhappy & very angry at what this "DR" has done to me,, oh yea,,I also have a bulbous pubic area,, what did he do to me???? I was 60, healthy and felt good about all the weight I had lost..what can I do now,,I really hurt and can't eat!

Norma,

Sorry to hear of your troubles.

Does your current doctor say there is nothing wrong after all the tests? Is he suggesting additional tests of just giving up?

The only thing that's left for you is to try to put your anger behind you (there is nothing you can do about the surgeon anyway) and find another doctor who may have additional ideas.

I don't know what else to suggest.
